This small circular route starts and ends next to the Gorreana Tea Factory. This is the ascending part of the route that develops on dirt road through the middle of the tea plantation. About 1,200 meters after the beginning of the route the pasture starts to take the place of the tea and the woods. About 450 meters passing through a set of buildings supporting the agricultural activity. Continuing on we will cross a forest of cryptomerias, and then rise to the highest point of the route. We will stop at Casa do Mirante, a construction at this moment in ruin, where we can enjoy a magnificent view over much of the north coast of the island, from Pico da Vara on the east, to Ribeirinha on the northwest. Below, the tea plantations and Gorreana Tea factory. Returned by the same path next to the forest of cryptomerias, towards the tea plantation. The final part of the route takes place inside the plantation. At the end of the tour you will be able visit the Gorreana Tea Factory where you can enjoy a tea of your choice.
