The walking start in Sete Cidades the western part of the island. We start our walk through at the "9 windows" (the former aqueduct), where we cross a dense forest of Japoneese Cedar trees (Cryptomeria japonica), for 1 km. We continue on the edge top of the crater during 9 km, so you will have the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful views of the island. A picnic will be held along the journey. Once the walk around the crater ends, we descend on a 2km "levada", a path rich in vegetation with amazing light shades, to reach the civil parish of Sete Cidades. A confort break will take place before we return to Ponta Delgada.
